Web Server Logging

During your visit to the Company’s website, the company we have contracted to manage the website processes and stores technical data about the device you are using (operating system, screen resolution, and other non-personal characteristics) as well as information about your browser (version, language settings), including the publicly available IP address of the computer from which you access the Company’s website, and the date and time of access. An IP address is a unique numeric address through which your device sends and receives data on the Internet. If you do not provide data that allows the Company to identify you while using the website, neither our service provider nor we can actually determine who owns the IP address. However, a user may be identified if legal action is taken against them (for example, in the case of attacks on the website), and the identity becomes known during an investigation.

The Company’s service provider uses the processed data for statistical purposes in an anonymized form so that the Company can track which devices and configurations are used to access the website and optimize the website accordingly. These statistical data do not contain any personal data. The legal basis for compiling such statistics is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

In addition, your IP address is used to ensure technical access to the website and its proper use, as well as to detect and prevent attacks on the Company’s service provider or the website itself. Since the purpose of such attacks is to harm website operators or their users (e.g., blocking access, stealing data, distributing malware including viruses, or other illegal actions), such attacks may disrupt the normal operation of the data center of the company contracted by the Company, the functioning of the website, and the security of its visitors. The IP address and access time are processed to prevent such attacks. Through this processing, the Company, via its service provider, ensures the website’s functionality and protects itself and its users from unlawful attacks. The legal basis for processing such data is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Stored IP data is deleted (through anonymization) as soon as it is no longer required for detecting or preventing attacks.

Cookies

The Company uses cookies and similar technologies (in particular, local storage) to ensure the stable and technical functionality of its website, to understand how users interact with it, and to save user-selected settings in their browsers.

A “cookie” is a small text file that your browser stores on your computer when you visit the Company’s website. When you revisit the site, the Company can read these cookies again. Cookies are stored for varying periods of time. You can configure at any time which cookies are allowed in your browser; however, this may affect the proper functioning of the website. You can also delete cookies at any time. If you do not, the Company may determine how long the cookies are stored.

There is a distinction between session cookies and persistent cookies: session cookies are deleted by the browser after logging out of the site or closing the browser, while persistent cookies remain for the period set by the Company when they are installed.

Purposes of Using Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Technically necessary cookies – required for the functionality of the website (e.g., to recognize login sessions). Some functions are not possible without them.
  • Functional cookies – used to implement certain features at your request.
  • Analytical cookies – intended to analyze user behavior.
  • Third-party cookies – set by third parties whose functions are integrated into the Company’s website. They may also be used to analyze user behavior.

Most browsers used by website visitors allow you to control which cookies are permitted and provide the option to delete them. If you restrict cookie storage for certain sites or block third-party cookies, some website functions may not be available. Information on configuring cookies for popular browsers can be found at the following links:

Contact Form

If you submit a message to the Company using the provided contact forms, the Company will use the data you provide to process your request. The legal basis for this is the Company’s legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry, in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

If your request is aimed at entering into a contract with the Company, an additional legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. The data will be deleted after your request has been processed. If the Company is required by law to retain the data for a longer period, deletion will occur after the expiration of the relevant retention period.

Transfer of Data to Third Parties

The Company does not disclose the personal data provided to it to third parties (in particular, not for advertising purposes).

However, to ensure the functional operation of the Company’s website or to provide services/products, the Company collaborates with service providers (data processors). Personal data may be transferred to such providers. The Company carefully selects its service providers—especially regarding data protection and security—and takes all measures required by data protection legislation to ensure the safe processing of data.

Google Analytics

Under a data processing agreement, the Company uses the service provided by Google LLC (hereinafter “Google”), Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, including via the Google Tag Manager. As a data processor, Google uses a so-called cookie—a small text file stored by your browser on your computer. This cookie transmits information to Google about the website you visit, including the following: browser type/version, operating system, technical information about your system and browser, and the publicly available IP address of your device.

The Company uses Google Analytics in such a way that your IP address is applied only in an anonymized form. This anonymization applies within Ukraine, the European Union, or the countries of the European Economic Area after receiving the corresponding signal from Google. In exceptional cases, the full IP address may be transmitted to Google servers in the USA and anonymized there. According to Google, the IP address is anonymized before it is stored on permanent media. Details are available in Google’s Privacy Policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.

Google Analytics allows the Company to collect statistics on the use of its website, as well as demographic data and user behavior information in anonymized form. These data help the Company better understand how users find the website, to improve search engine optimization and advertising effectiveness. Such processing allows the Company to pursue its legitimate interests in improving the website and advertising campaigns. The legal basis for processing these data is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Information on opting out of Google Analytics can be found at: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
